BAY ALARM

BAY ALARM WAS AN HONOR TO WORK WITH BECAUSE THEY WERE A SMALLER BRAND WITH MORE HEART THAN THE BEST OF THEM. THEY WERE LIKE A FAMILY AND THEY WERE COMING OUT OF SOME PRETTY HARD TIMES WITH LEADERSHIP CHANGES AND WHATNOT. THERE WERE LAYOFFS BUT THERE WAS STILL A GREAT FAITH IN THE BRAND AND WHAT IT COULD BECOME. THAT MADE WORKING WITH THEM MORE MEANINGFUL. IT WAS NOT JUST A CHANCE TO HELP PROMOTE A BRAND AND BUILD IT, BUT A CHANCE TO HELP A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE, SOME OF WHOM I NOW CONSIDER FRIENDS.

WITH THIS WORK THEY WANTED TO EXPAND THEIR OFFERINGS AND WIDEN THE WORLD’S PERCEPTION OF THEM. GOING UP THE CALIFORNIA COAST ONE SEES BAY ALARMS STICKERS IN ALL KINDS OF SHOP WINDOWS AND HOUSE FRONTS, BUT THEY WANTED THE WORLD TO KNOW THEY WORK WITH MUCH LARGER SPACES AND COMPANIES AS WELL, WHILE ALSO SHOWING OFF THE VAST RANGE OF THINGS THEY OFFER ALL THEIR CLIENTS.

TO COMMUNICATE THIS WE WENT WITH THE PLATFORM OF '“WE GOT YOU” AND WE HAD FUN WITH ALL THE QUARKY THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN AND HOW NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE WE STILL HAVE YOUR BACK.

FOR THE SHOOT I HAD TO HANDLE CREATIVE DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES BECAUSE THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR WAS WITH HIS WIFE QUITE LITERALLY GIVING BIRTH DURING THE TIME OF THE SHOOT. IT WAS A LOT TO TAKE ON AND I DEF HAD A HARD TIME GETTING SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE, BUT IN THE END THE CLIENT WAS SO HAPPY THAT THE CEO MADE AN EFFORT TO GIVE HIS DEEP THANKS.

ON THE HEADLINE FRONT, THEY DIDN’T JUST WANT A FEW. THEY NEEDED A WHOLE BOATLOAD OF THEM TO SHOW OFF A WHOLE BOATLOAD OF OFFERINGS. THIS MEANT WRITING A WHOLE BOATLOAD OF OPTIONS FOR EVERY SINGLE HEADLINE THAT THEY NEEDED. LET’S JUST SAY MY ABILITY TO JUST KEEP ON WRITING AND WRITING CAME IN HANDY.
